What happens in a free consultation?
The consultation is a brief 15-minute phone call where we discuss what brings you to therapy, I answer any questions you have about my approach, and we determine if we'd be a good fit to work together. There's no pressure or obligation.
How long does therapy typically last?
The length of therapy varies depending on your goals and what you're working through. Some people find value in short-term work (8-12 sessions), while others prefer ongoing support. We'll regularly check in about your progress and adjust as needed.
Do you accept insurance?
I am an out-of-network provider, which means I don't bill insurance directly. However, I can provide a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Many PPO plans offer partial coverage for out-of-network providers.
What is your cancellation policy?
I ask for 24 hours notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are charged at the full session rate. I understand emergencies happen, and we can discuss on a case-by-case basis.
