Elizabeth Grace, LCSW

I am a licensed clinical social worker and Jungian-oriented psychotherapist with over twenty years of experience accompanying individuals through profound personal transformation.

My path to this work began with my own analysis in my late twenties, an experience that revealed to me the remarkable healing potential that emerges when we attend carefully to the psyche's wisdom. This formative experience shaped my conviction that therapy at its best is not merely treatment, but a sacred journey toward wholeness.

"The privilege of a lifetime is to become who you truly are."

I trained in depth psychology and completed post-graduate work in Jungian analysis. My approach integrates classical analytic technique with contemporary relational perspectives, creating a therapeutic environment where both conscious and unconscious dimensions of experience can be explored.

Beyond the consulting room, I am a student of literature, art, and mythology—sources that continually deepen my understanding of the human condition. I believe that meaningful psychological work often occurs at the intersection of the personal and the universal.

Therapeutic Philosophy

I practice from the conviction that symptoms are not merely problems to be eliminated, but communications from the psyche that deserve our careful attention. Depression, anxiety, and life crises often signal that something essential has been neglected or that a new phase of development is calling.

My work aims not for simple adjustment to conventional expectations, but for authentic individuation—the gradual becoming of who you were always meant to be. This is patient, careful work that honors both the suffering that brings people to therapy and the deeper purpose that suffering may serve.

I believe the therapeutic relationship itself is the primary vehicle of healing. In the container of genuine human meeting, patterns that have persisted for decades can finally shift, and possibilities that seemed foreclosed can open again.
